After moving to Los Angeles from Europe, Norwegian photographer Erik Asla was soon hired as photo assistant to world famous photographer Herb Ritts.
The experience he gained from working alongside one of the world’s most renowned image makers, is clearly reflected in Erik’s own career.
In addition to advertising and commercial work, his editorial images have been published in American and International publications such as Allure, C Magazine, Costume, Dwell, Elle, Glamour, Interview, Marie-Claire, The New York Times Magazine, Tatler as well as German Vogue and Vanity Fair.
Erik lives in Los Angeles with his three daughters surrounded by ambient light, art books and photographs.
